table tennis really helps.
resolve to be your fittest.
adversity must make us stronger, not weaker.

take a trip to some country you've never gone to before.
observe people's olympic struggles.
it's part of the human experience.
5. learn a new skill
something you've always wanted to do but did'nt get around to.
public speaking, dancing, singing...your choice.
take a class at a community college or a university.
6. go to temple or church or mosque.
make a deeper spiritual connection with God.
let him lift some of your burden.
i listened to Hari Om Sharan after many years and experienced a real sense of joy.
7. spend time learning about US government.
get to know more about how government works. why does house vote differently than the senate ?
get to know the 100 senators and 435 house reps. especially how they stand on legal immigration.
our friends on the other side of the fence have done us a favor by organizing this information

8. learn from IV efforts of previous years
many skills were introduced which could have helped us. what can we learn from what failed ?
e.g. comprehensive immigration bill 2006. it passed in the senate but stalled in the house.
Gandhigiri did work this year. it was a major success story we should celebrate and learn from.
9. accept and enjoy the present.
accept the present moment. breathe.
enjoy nature - the sun, the moon, the heavens, fresh air and water. make new associations and friends.
experiencing these gifts of life is enough to keep one happy.
10. write it out.
record the feelings you are going through in writing.
capture the details.
what was your journey, your expectations, your highs and lows ?
you may see your struggles in a different light 10 years from now.

What we need is a interim EB bill.
The first stpes may be to indentify all non-contraversial issues and then come to a common understanding on those..
To summarize a discussion with Tito, Rajeev, and go_gc_way on another thread: we should ask for 3 non-controversial things first. We can, if we need to, ask for more things in Step 2.
1. Ability to file for I-485 without current PD.
2. A renewable EAD of 5 yrs.
3. Recapture of unused visas from previous yrs (only if this is not controversial).
Guys and gals, a silver medal is better than a gold medal. The SKIL bill is a gold medal, but the bottomline is we did not win any medal on Friday. Also, I support nycgal's opinion on re-evaluation of our lobbying partner.

This is my first post.
My Employer's Inhouse Attorney ( one of big 4 ) says technically EB dependents ( all 1,2,3) must be classified under FAMILY quota. USCIS mis classifies them under EMPLOYMENT quota.
Is he technically correct ?
Since, Most of dependents will not be affected when they are classified under Family quota (as they have AP and EAD).
Can IV possibly consider for push for reclassification of Dependents under Family Quota ? This will reduce backlog.
Please don't take it out of context, I am not trying to hurt any EB dependents, I too have a spouse working part time using beneficiary EAD. This is more of an open question.

I liked the burning photocopies idea very much .This will surely work.
Is it legal? There could be a law written in the 1800s that bans something like this. Please confirm. Things like burning stuff have a tendency to go out of hand and create larger problems. IMHO, more peaceful means would be better.

GOP as well DNC are all chasing the mass votes of illegals and their USC relatives.
At least Bush Administration was sympathetic to our cause. Everyone knows that this is a congressional fix but alteast Bush never came up with those anti-H1b policies to destabilize people in GC queue. Now these numbers have retrogressed in month of June when historically this has never happened. Obama is trying to woo people at the cost of Indian community.
Everyone knows Durban & how he has lately tried to screw Indian community and Obama is a good friend of Durban. Now Democrats are in majority , why have they not fought for your cause ? There was an idiot congressman in IV Dc rally who was talking about making all illegals legal from IV stage. So what else u can expect ?

Dear EB2 guys,
This thread was started by one EB3 guy to discuss about EB3 plight. If you don't want to constructively ( including criticism ) participate in the discussion, can't you at least stay away from this thread ?
Men don't realize that make up is the magic that makes these ugly ones look pretty. :D

I beg to differ. I prefer Nandita Das over Katrina. Nandita is more brains with reasonable beauty.
In America people having more debt has better credit history. In our country it would be considered stupid to give credit to a man in debt.

Excellent Dude! .. that is what we need to do... youtube/google all the videos related to this campaign.... Few areas of improvements to be noted synchronization between visuals and the vocals... and it also ended abruptly..
